Hired Attorney Mary Elizabeth Schmitt

Mary was very helpful with us. We were trying to decide if we should fill bankruptcy and she gave us our options. She was not worried about the money that she would make from us. She was here for our best options.

Hired Attorney Mary Elizabeth Schmitt

I feel that she is a good, knowledgeable attorney; however, I've never met her. Everything was done via, email and phone. Her response time to many of my questions and concerns were greatly delayed; some of the info. I provided to her when asked, was asked for again and again. I began making calls and submitting paperwork on my own, because some of the matters needed to be addressed ASAP! I think, if I didn't live so far away, it may have been different.

Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
