Alen, whose family hails from Assyrian and Armenian backgrounds, immigrated to the U.S. from Iran and went on to obtain his B.A. in Economics from The University of Chicago (2002) and his J.D. from The UIC John Marshall Law School (2007).
Beyond his legal practice, Alen actively serves on the boards of esteemed organizations such as Heartland Alliance, the National Immigrant Justice Center, and the Skokie Community Foundation. In his leisure time, he cherishes moments spent with his family and his beloved dogs, Rumi and Piper. Alen also takes on marathons and triathlons, showcasing his dedication and passion in various aspects of life.
