What can I do about my father's estate, probate and misplace of will?

Answered by attorney Gerald A Bagazinski (Unclaimed Profile)
Estate Planning lawyer at Gerald A. Bagazinski
You may have priority to be the personal representative. I would apply for Probate. I would contact attorney's in the area to see if they might have a copy of the missing will. I would also publish a notice at the probate court.

How do you get power of attorney for a loved one?

Answered by attorney Collin McDermitt Hinds (Unclaimed Profile)
Estate Planning lawyer at Hinds Law Firm
It sounds like you might have to go through a court procedure called a guardianship. If dad is competent enough to sign a power of attorney, he can do that, which would save a lot of time and money.

What rights does the estate have if the executor of the will removed all of the deceased things from the property?

Answered by attorney Christine James
Estate Planning lawyer at James Law Group
This is very difficult because personal property is hard to trace. You need to get a New Jersey lawyer to send the estate lawyer a letter and see what you can do.
