What could the executor have wanted my personal information for?

Answered by attorney Christine James
Estate Planning lawyer at James Law Group
Since you are an heir, she must give you notice - that said, she shouldn't need your date of birth unless you are young and she doesn't know whether you are an adult.

What is the Written Consent language to admit new members to an LLC who will receive a membership interest as a gift without giving contribution?

You should first look at your operating agreement. If the LLC does not have one, then presumably just a statement signed by the other members that states that they consent to the new member joining and his or her percentage ownership of the LLC is X.

May I continue to probate my mother's estate?

If you have been appointed you are the Personal Representative unless and until you are removed. Did you use an attorney to assist you in Michigan, if not perhaps you should. In my view if the inventory is due before the hearing date, I'd file it and pay the inventory filing fee. I also recommend that you respond to your brother's motion regarding trying to remove you as Personal Representative, especially if you feel that you can perform the duties. That said, again, I think you need an attorney representing you now and at the hearing.
