First, I suggest that you send certified letter to her demanding annual accounting from the time she was appointed, or the last one she provided. Require that the accounting be provided within 60 days. Second, if she fails to provide it to you or it is not satisfactory, consult a probate and trust attorney to determine in what fashion you need to file with the court for an accounting and possibly her removal. Not without complying with the appropriate procedures. They must file Creditor Claims with the Court. If mom's estate is under $150K and has no real property, so that no probate is taking place, you still can petition for probate, and subject the entire thing to judicial supervision. Or you could simply sue, perhaps in small claims court, for conversion.
