How do I remove a power of attorney that I gave my sister 1 year ago?

Answered by attorney Sabina Tomshinsky
Estate Planning lawyer at Home Town Law, P.A.
You can revoke the power of attorney by executing a revocation of the power of attorney and delivering it to your agent and other third parties that may have relied on it; you may also want to record the revocation. Another way to revoke the current power of attorney is by executing a new power of attorney and include language in the new instrument how it revokes all prior instruments. Section 709.2110 of the Florida Statutes addresses revocations. All the best.

When you have assets in Florida and Puerto Rico. Where do you do your living trust?

Charles H. Sanford
Answered by attorney Charles H. Sanford (Unclaimed Profile)
Estate Planning lawyer at Charles H. Sanford Law Offices P.L.
Sir/Madame,   If you are a Florida Resident, I recommend Florida. Further, if the PR assets are real property , you should fund the PR real property (or any out of state property) to trust.

Will we lose our home or can we remodify our loan?

Answered by attorney David Goldman
Estate Planning lawyer at Law Office of David M. Goldman PLLC
It may not be possible to modify the loan if he was the only one on the note. You should talk with a Florida Estate Planning Lawyer who is familiar with foreclosures and loan modifications.
