What is the best way to pay a sibling their portion of value of our inherited home?

You need to negotiate an agreement with your brother as to what you both want to do. If necessary, you should meet with a lawyer to help you negotiate and document the agreement. There is no "best way" to handle this situation. Everything will depend on the specific facts surrounding your situation. In addition, there is a significant amount of money at stake. A well-documented agreement now will save you the cost and expense of a dispute with your brother later on. Best of luck to you.

Can the executor put the deed to the home in his name only and his wife the Realtor to sell the home?

The trustee/executor of the trust must follow the terms of the trust, and deed out the real estate from the trust to the two beneficiaries via a trustee's deed, if the property goes to specific designated beneficiaries. Do not let the executor do the very act you are alluding to; if he wants to go forward in the way he is suggesting, you will need to file a petition into probate court to stop him and to have him removed as trustee, with the alternate trustee stated in the trust appointed.

How can I be involved so I know what he had left for me or us?

You could ask his wife if he had a will, and you could provide a death certificate to the Register of Wills and ask if he had a will on file there. If he didn't have a will, you would be entitled to a portion of his estate under the intestate statute.
