Alicia M. Passerin-Hunt, Ph.D. focuses her practice on patent prosecution, protection of trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, licensing, opinions, and litigation.
Alicia’s multi-disciplinary background provides her with the ability to counsel clients in the life sciences and in the chemical, biotechnical, mechanical, and software engineering fields.
Prior to attending law school, Alicia was a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Neuroscience, where her training was in the field of Neurobiology with subspecialty training in the fields of Neuroanatomy, Cardiovascular Physiology, and Immunology.
During law school, Alicia was an intern for the late Judge Carol Los Mansmann in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and an extern at the University of Pittsburgh Office of Technology Management.
Alicia is a Member of the Bar of Pennsylvania and also is admitted to practice before the USPTO. Alicia is not a member of the Florida Bar.
