Youngmin is a seasoned civil litigator who has been successful in defending commercial property owners and tenants in various premises liability matters, contractors and subcontractors in construction/labor law cases and employers in workers’ compensation matters. In addition, she has in-depth expertise in complex property damage cases arising out of construction defects, as well as subrogation matters stemming from product defects and water leaks.
Her strength is to spot pertinent issues in every case in the beginning of litigation, focus on strong defenses available to her clients and shift risk transfer. She has argued and won countless summary judgment motions to dismiss complaints against her clients based on these strategic tactics.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, jogging, cooking Korean food, reading fiction novels and playing sports with her two boys. She is an active member of Diversity Committee, part of PTA in Mount Pleasant School District. From her growing up and roots in S. Korea, she speaks, writes and reads Korean fluently.
