About Mr. Leonard C. Morales

I am first and most importantly a trial attorney; this means I fight cases in State, Federal and Military Courts every day. I won't turn down your case because it's distasteful or complex. Too many lawyers turn people away because the case might be "hard to win" or "won't be easy to settle." I will take your case if I believe that I can help you.

It is not my practice to take on as many cases as I can – too many other lawyers do that. It is also not my practice to deal each case out as quickly as possible. Each case is unique and your interests, the facts and circumstances surrounding the case, and the realistic possibilities all require their own time to develop. My goal is to provide the best representation possible, tailored to your needs and objectives. I cannot guarantee any particular outcome (and nothing on this website should be construed as a guarantee of any certain result in any case), but I do promise you my best counsel and efforts.

Don't plea bargain away your future! Any lawyer can cut a deal, but only an experienced trial lawyer with a proven success rate can get you justice.

I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. My wife, Michelle and I have made our home in El Paso and we have three wonderful children. My wife is also an attorney and a Municipal Court Judge.

I am a graduate of Ysleta High School, the New Mexico Military Institute, and the University of Houston. I received my law degree from Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

After high school I joined the U.S. Army eventually earning my commission as a Reserve Army Officer through the New Mexico Military Institute. While serving with the Army Reserve I have continued to work and go to school.

After law school, I went onto active duty with the U.S. Army in the Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG). I left active duty in 2003 while staying in the Army Reserve. I retired from the Army in 2014 after 25 years of service (a mixture of active duty and Reserve service). During my Army career I had the opportunity to prosecute and defend soldiers in cases worldwide. My career included deployments to Europe with the 1st Armored Division, and the Middle East, with the 1st Infantry Division.

I opened The Law Offices of Leonard Morales P.C. in 2003. In the years, since then I have forged a reputation as skilled and formidable trial lawyer. I have tried all manner of cases from Capital Murder to Federal RICO. From Court Martial for Murder to Sexual Assaults. No case is too big or too small. I will represent you if I believe I can help.

I am a solo practitioner and my primary office is located in El Paso, Texas. I am willing to travel to other states and even internationally when called upon.

Leonard is a consummate professional. He was dedicated to my case from day one until he won. His excellent strategy and command of the board led to me receiving a unanimous vote to retain me in the US Army by a three member board. I truly believe Leonard saved my career.
