Hired Attorney

Barrie Johnson conducts herself in a highly unprofessional manner, both in and out of the courtroom. When her name was mentioned to another attorney, they immediately recognized her reputation for unprofessionalism — which speaks volumes. In court, she frequently rolls her eyes, shakes her head, and displays dismissive body language that is inappropriate for an officer of the court. While it is expected that an attorney defend their client, she does so by relying heavily on hearsay rather than presenting actual evidence. This not only weakens her credibility but also wastes the court’s time. She has a history of failing to respond in a timely manner and is careless in her paperwork, often filling documents out incorrectly. These patterns raise serious concerns about her reliability, competence, and ability to advocate effectively for her clients. Her conduct diminishes the integrity of the court process, and her lack of professionalism reflects poorly on the legal profession.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
