Working with Linda and Alyssha made a difficult process much more manageable. They consistently put in extra time when it was needed and always kept my children’s best interests at the center of everything. That focus meant a lot to me. Whenever I felt anxious or overwhelmed, Alyssha took the time to walk me through things and calm my nerves. Their steady guidance and professionalism helped me feel supported and informed throughout the process. I’m grateful for their help and wouldn’t have made it through this as smoothly without them. I would confidently recommend Linda to anyone going through a divorce and looking for someone who truly cares about their clients.

I was led to believe that the head attorney would represent me. When I learned it would be a different attorney, I asked if she had any experience with the TRA pension plan for my state, and was told that she did. It turned out that she had no experience with it and had to "learn as she went". It cost me a lot of money because I had to pay for consultation time with the head attorney in addition to the extra time it took her to draft the decree due to lack of experience. Response time was poor.

Hired Attorney Linda S. de Beer

Very aggressive at billing services-billed for initial welcome letter. Had needless early conferences that racked up billings without any progress over my objections. Did not respond to questions directly or timely. Would not take direction or respond to my concerns. Only time I ever met with her individually was when I was signed on as a client. From then on, would not respond to my concerns. Cost over $9,000 to go nowhere. Changed attorneys to find adequate and affordable representation.

Hired Attorney Linda S. de Beer

Unfortunately, Ms. de Beer and her team were very unresponsive to my questions about process, my concerns about keeping costs low, and pursued methods that drove up her billing hours. We made no progress in my divorce. Despite my reservations about them being premature as we had not yet compiled any data, she arranged two conferences with the other counsel that were not productive at all. My other attorney could not believe the expenses she billed for.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
