About Steven C O'Tool

Eagan attorney Steve O’Tool has invested 34 years developing his practice as a civil trial attorney. A 1978 graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, Steve has developed a reputation for representing defendants and plaintiffs in personal injury related matters, business and commercial disputes, jury trials, court trials, administrative hearings and alternative dispute resolution. He is the former special counsel to Ideal Mutual Insurance Company and its self-insured liquor liability program, and has lectured in that field.

Hired Attorney

I've been working with Mr. O'Tool this past year on a rather complex issue. He has been very thorough on investigative work while keeping me informed. He is diligent and articulate in all of his correspondence. He always responds to phone & email messages in a timely manner. Steve is very personable and genuinely cares about his clients. I would not hesitate to refer family and friends to his office! I highly recommend Mr. O'Tool!

I interviewed several attorneys regarding representing me for a matter. Mr. O'Tool was the only one who not only took me seriously, but believed in Me as a person, and believed in my case. He educated me in areas, and gave me total confidence in his plan. He was always the most "patient person in the room" during any any all correspondents with me and the opposing party. We received a positive resolution, and I am grateful for that, but again it was his belief in "me as a person" that felt better than the resolution. Later on, a family member needed legal representation, and Mr. O' Tool was referred.
