Law Office of Brent D. Stamps, LLC, located in Norcross, GA: Sir: How many calls, recordings, letters must I receive? How many times do I have to repeat the same conversation over and over again to your office, that I am unable to pay this bill? Your letter states, "At this time the attorney Brent D. Stamps has not personally reviewed the particular circumstances of this account." I ask, when will this account be "reviewed"? As explained, a Piedmont Hospital employee visited me while hospitalized, gathering information for review, to see if I qualified for assistance with my bill, because I had informed them I was unable to pay this bill. I never received any other information from them, until learning my account had been turned over for collections.I called Piedmont Hospital billing about this and was told I could have received assistance if I had applied, but it was too late at that point, since they had turned the account over to collections. Hmmm! In my opinion, Piedmont Hospital did me a disservice by not allowing me the opportunity to receive assistance with my bill. In conversation with your office, I was told this was not the first time hearing of this disservice by Piedmont Hospital with other clients in collections with your firm, and this information would be checked into. My financial circumstances has not changed, and I feel deep anxiety that I am in a position of not being financially secure to pay these bills, as I had informed Piedmont Hospital from the moment I arrived at the Emergency Room via Ambulance. Unfortunately for all concerned, this is far beyond my control, and desire. Through no fault of my own, Georgia Dog Bite Law is so worded that I was unable to collect compensations for any of these bills, therefore, leaving me with horrendous medical bills, while the dog owner is left with no consequences for their Pit Bull running out of their yard, attacking me, while on a leisurely walk. I do apologize for this unfortunate event that I am left with the blame for. What can I do?
Brent is a snake in the grass! He's looking out for himself and no one else. DO NOT TRUST HIM! He is very difficult to get into contact with. Then I got a return call from a woman who barely speaks English. I have never been so disappointed in a person and a law firm.
