The ability to reduce or dismiss charges rests with the prosecuter and they frequently reduce chaarges under circumstances like you suggest. I would suggest that you hire an experienced local attorney as soon as possible.

How do I find out if I have a DUI misdemeanor?

Jared Clayton Austin

How can you not remember what crime who were found guilty of? Either way, both OWI and reckless driving are misdemeanors. You can request your case file information from your attorney or check the court file at the court where your case was at for more specific information. You can also obtain your Michigan criminal history through the state police for a nominal fee. Your driving record through the Secretary of State may contain it as well.

Would you be fined for being in a parked car, ignition was off, with no license and under the influence of marijuana?

Answered by attorney Christopher J. Palmer
DUI/DWI lawyer at Coast Family Law, LLC
In fact, in Oregon, I believe that you can still be cited and charged for attempted driving under the influence. If you have been contacted by police, speak with a criminal defense attorney.
