Can you appeal a DUI conviction?

Yes, provided you have the grounds for an appeal. It is a lengthy and complicated process for which you would need to retain a criminal attorney who is familiar with the appeal process. I do not recommend that you try this alone.

Am I able to view the video of my DUI before consulting a lawyer?

Generally the answer is no. If you cannot afford an attorney, request the court to appoint a public defender to represent you. Your public defender will be able to obtain a copy of the video, if it exists. If you represent yourself, you will be doing yourself a disservice, as defending a DUI case can be complicated.

Is there a statute of limitations on the DWI charges that were filed?

Answered by attorney Adam J. Teller (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Leone, Throwe, Teller & Nagle
The arrests warrants will not go away and the statue of limitations does not run once a warrant is issued, although the police must use reasonable efforts to serve the warrants. You should contact a Connecticut attorney to try to arrange your surrender and a plea bargain.
