Unfortunately it is not illegal for officers to mute or turn off their body cams while consulting with other officers- in fact many departments have a policy that allows or even requires it. But juries seem to dislike it when officers do this spit can help your side of the case if the case goes to trial.

Am I eligible to request a normal license if my DUI was 4 years ago?

Answered by attorney Steven M Dodge (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at The Law Office of Steven M. Dodge, PLLC
The Driver Assessment and Appeal Division will not grant a full restoration without your having completed at least a year with the interlock. This answer assumes that your license was revoked because of more than one drunk driving conviction. If you were ordered to use the interlock for some other reason, I would need to know what that reason is before I can answer your question.

Answered by attorney Marshall S. Tauber

Every background check starts with a driving record check. Your driving related convictions are typically transmitted to the Secretary of State within 48 hours of when they are entered in Court. Your's will show up by now.
