Pull a copy of your Georgia MVR from the Dept. of Driver Services or call them directly. They will be able to tell you what is on your driving record and what impact it will have on a CDL.

Can requirements for getting your license back after a DUI go void?

In order to get his driver license restored, your dad will have to prove at least one year of total sobriety, as well as verified attendance in a "structured support group. " The only support group I know of that is both well-recognized and free is AA. While it is possible for your dad to get his license restored without documented AA attendance, it will be VERY hard. Your dad should consult with an Attorney who concentrates in driver license restoration law to assist him. If he loses the hearing, he will have to wait an entire year before requesting another one.
