Is it too late to ask for Prisoner bracteolate now if my son just began his 70-day sentence for a 3rd DUI?

DUI/DWI lawyer at Musilli Brennan Associates, PLLC
The person your son should be seeking to is the attorney who him. He has a better knowledge of the details of the situation and perhaps already posed that potential to the court. Given the fact it is the third DUI, it appears that the court is trying to impress your son with the seriousness of his transgressions.

Your case will go forward. Either you will retain another attorney, or the court will appoint one for you.

I was charged with DUI and open container what will happen to me?

Answered by attorney Nathaniel D Shafer
DUI/DWI lawyer at Natty Shafer Law
Its impossible to say what will happen to you. That depends entirely on the facts of your case. In Utah, though an officer cannot stop you for not having a seatbelt on. They have to stop you for another reason and then they can add that charge. (The Utah legislature is currently considering changing that.) You may be able to contest the legality of the stop entirely.
