I do not know why they would have required a blood test, and it certainly seems that there are contradictory indications. I would suggest you get yourself an attorney right now

Will I go to jail for my first DWI offense?

Answered by attorney Richard Wagner
DUI/DWI lawyer at The Law Office of Richard Wagner, A Professional Corporation
It's possible but not likely. The high BAC could cause the judge to enhance your sentence to include doing some jail time. You're probably looking at a stiff fine, a long alcohol education program and some community labor while being on court probation.
