How can I have my DUI expunged?

Answered by attorney Ezra N. Goldman
DUI/DWI lawyer at Law Offices of Ezra N. Goldman P.C.
The expungement statute specifically excludes drinking/driving offenses. The short answer is that there is no such thing. That said, if you can afford it and are willing to take the chance, you can hire us to move to set aside your conviction. We would have to order and pour over your court transcripts to discover a basis for setting it aside. If the court grants that, you will get a new trial. At the new trial, you might win. The officer might have retired or may not remember what happened these years ago. Or, you could get convicted again. That is really your only option. People don't do it that much because it is expensive and iffy.

How many years am I facing on new and fourth DWI?

Answered by attorney Joshua James Price
DUI/DWI lawyer at Defending Rights Law Center
This all depends on what jurisdiction you are in and facts of your case. This can differ so much from county to county...only a local lawyer with more information would be able to give you an idea of what you were looking at.

Will my boss find out I got a DUI?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney John F Brennan (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Musilli Brennan Associates, PLLC
Generally, the courts do not notify the employer of employees conditions. That does not mean that you will not find out from other employees or public records. If driving records are checked because you periodically drive and are insured and company vehicles, the next time the insurance company pulls the records your conviction will be noted.
