How much does it cost to get a misdemeanor DUI expunged?

Different attorneys charge differently to have records expunged. A person can attempt to have their records expunged without using an attorney. Certainly having the assistance of an attorney experienced in having records sealed is very helpful. Some attorneys do not charge for initial consultation and can quote what fees they charge.

Do I really need to hire a attorney for a DUI?

Answered by attorney Stephen Lewis Freeborn (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Freeborn Law Offices P.S.
You don't have to hire an attorney for anything; however, a DUI carries with it a maximum penalty of 1 year in jail and a $5,000.00 fine, plus loss of license, installation of an interlock, increased insurance premiums, drug/alcohol counseling. If you want to roll the dice by representing yourself, you are certainly free to do so.

How much does it cost to get a misdemeanor DUI expunged?

There is no real expungement for a DUI. It is a prior for 10 years and can be used to increase the punishment for other DUIs. The only expungement is if you were factually innocent.
