How can I file a motion to quash and recall a warrant for failure to appear for a DUI charge without an attorney?

Generally, in a criminal case you just have to show up and ask them to recall the warrant. Without an attorney you have to be prepared for the court to order bail and remand you until you pay bail.

How long do I have to wait to be able to start sealing my record if I had a OWI 5 years ago?

Answered by attorney Patrick S. Fragel (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Patrick S. Fragel, Attorney at Law, P.C.
The Michigan Expungement statute does not allow you to "seal the record" for violations involving OWI. The OWI conviction will remain on your driving record and criminal record permanently. If you get convicyed of OWI again, the first offense will be used to enhance the sentence.
