If a friend of mine got pulled over in my car and got a 4th DWI, the police are saying they are going to seize my car is that true?

DUI/DWI lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
You should try whatever to get your car back. I suspect that they are seizing your vehicle, because: (1) you knew that he had an alcohol problem and had an interlock device on his vehicle; and (2) you allowed him to drive your vehicle, which was not equipped with an interlock device. You are a co-conspirator. IF he kills someone while drunk in your vehicle, you should expect to be sued.

How long am I required to select "yes" on official documents when asked if I have ever been convicted of a crime?

Yes, if it is asking for misdemeanors, no if the question is related to felonies. Omission or falsehood is grounds for immediate dismissal.

How can I be charged with DWI when I don't drink a drop and blew .000?

Mark Corwin Bruce
Answered by attorney Mark Corwin Bruce (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Law Office M. C. Bruce
DUI is not only alcohol, it is also driving under the influence of drugs. If your medications cause drowsiness or otherwise impair your driving skills, you could be charged with a DUI. Problem the DA usually has in such cases is proving that the amount of drugs in your system caused you to be impaired.
