You could be charged with accomplice liability, aiding and abetting in the commission of a crime. These are generally gross misdemeanors, punishable by up to a year in jail and a $5,000.00 fine.

What will happen with my missed court date?

You need to go back to court and explain it to the Judge about your emergency with the proof. There will be a bench warrant and if the Judge believes you will recall the warrant. Be prepared to deal with the citation at that time.

Do not plead guilty. Hire a lawyer to represent you. Potentially, you could go to jail if you don't hire an attorney to represent you.
