How do we get a divorce if we have no money?

Mediation is the means by which to obtain a divorce at minimal costs. The mediator will be able to prepare and file all required forms with the court from the beginning to the end of a case without any need for you or your spouse to even go the courthouse to a file a piece of paper. The total costs depends upon the hours spent with the mediator. Most uncontested cases resolved through mediation cost less than one retainer paid to hire an attorney.

Can I kick my husband out of the house if I bought it?

If it was your house before the marriage it's still yours. Yes, you can kick him out, but it doesn't sound like simply telling him to get out will do the trick. You may be able to get an annulment instead of a divorce. You need a lawyer. Go get one.

Do I have to move out of my daughter's house. I am there by invitation of my daughter who is going through a divorce. House jointly owned.

Answered by attorney Diana L. Anderson

You have as much right to be in the house as your Daughter's guest as your daughter has.  During the divorce resolution, the house may have to be sold, or the asset divided, but there is noreason you have to leave the house unless there is some final resolution changing ownership of the house.
