How will my pregnancy affect our divorce if the baby is not my husband's?

Answered by attorney Jessica M Cotter (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at The Law Firm of Jessica M. Cotter, P.L.L.C.
You may continue with the dissolution, but the pregnancy will be a factor. Generally speaking the law in Arizona is that a child conceived during a marriage is a child of that marriage. It is a rebuttable presumption, but it is the case. You should consult with an experienced family law attorney to review your options.

Speak with your attorney or get on. She does not have to accept mediation, the next step would be trial before the Judge.

Is it legal for the office to withhold her file?

Answered by attorney Marcia J. Mavrides

No. Your client is entitled to her file. If the attorney refuses to provide her with a copy- then she can complain to the Board of Bar Overseers.
