Once an attorney has made an appearance in a case, the only person who can remove the attorney is the Judge. You have the right to fire the attorney but they are your attorney until released by the Judge.

From what you have provided, I doubt that you would be entitled to post divorce alimony under Chapter 8 of the Texas Family Code. To qualify, you must show that you lack the resources to provide for your basic minimal needs, which is a very high standard if you are receiving any monthly income at all.

Will his wife get everything?

Answered by attorney Anita Alice Webster (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Law Offices of Webster & Associates
In Nevada, the wife of a few months would be entitled to only those assets the parties purchased during the marriage. If they purchased a home during the marriage, it is unlikely the home would have much equity and if both parties want the home the court can order the sale of the home. He needs to speak to a knowledgeable family law attorney.
