How does the length of the marriage affect spousal support?

Divorce lawyer at Musilli Brennan Associates, PLLC
A three year marriage will support very little if any spousal support. Accumulation in pensions and increases in property values during the marriage are property and generally divisible. See an attorney.

Can I put out a lien to get what is owed if the divorce was granted about 7 years ago?

If you have a valid judgment then you should be able to record it in the appropriate jurisdiction and then have a lien against the property. You may have other enforcement rights available - consult with an attorney in North Carolina to see what your options may be.

Will you be able to help my son find a divorce attorney?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Robert Andrew Michael Burns (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Law Office of Robert Burns
That depends. Virtually no U.S.A. attorney can assist your son to get a divorce in S.K. But, if he wishes to get a divorce in Cal. he can be assisted preferably by an attorney in the County in which he is a resident. You provide virtually no information. Why doesn't he handle his own inquiry? I have represented a service member stationed in S.K. and we had excellent communication.
