How do I go about the post nuptial my husband is asking for and make sure we get 50/50?

Answered by attorney Eric Kent Johnson (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Utah Family Law LC
If you can afford it (and it appears you can), don't ask questions like this online; find an experienced, skilled lawyer and meet with that lawyer in person. Expect to pay a consultation fee, but consider it money well spent. You get what you pay for.

If my husband and I signed the divorce papers and it was signed by a Judge is this a binding paper as for enforcing the father to pay his child suppot

Answered by attorney Renea Overstreet
Divorce lawyer at The Overstreet Law Firm
The divorce decree should state whether there is income withholding, and there should be a separate income withholding order. If there is not one, you should get one. You also should be able to file an enforcement for child support. If the children are on Medicaid, eventually, the attorney general of Texas will file an enforcement. However, sometimes the AG does not file because they are overloaded with cases. You should probably file the enforcement yourself. You can get more information here: texaslawhelp.org.

When I pull up my divorce record it says disposed, does that mean divorced?

Kimberly Demetrice French
Answered by attorney Kimberly Demetrice French (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Law Offices of Kimberly D. Moss, PLLC
Disposed just means closed. It could be disposed due to being dismissed, or it could mean it's disposed due to be finalized and complete. I recommend a consultation with a local attorney to find out the exact status of your case.
