Can I just mail him the papers and let him sign his part?

Answered by attorney John F Brennan (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Musilli Brennan Associates, PLLC
Your question is insufficiently detailed to allow a reasonable answer. If you are attempting to accomplish a divorce where the two parties are no longer living in the same state I would certainly recommend that you buy a little bit of attorney time in order to make sure you get the procedures right. It is cheaper to do it right the first time, than to try to correct it later.

Is it a ground for divorce if a couple does not have any sexual intercourse?

Cathy Rose Cook
Answered by attorney Cathy Rose Cook (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Cathy R. Cook, Attorney at Law
Never having sexual intercourse in a marriage is a ground for annulment, which means the marriage would be voided as if it never existed. This would mean you would receive no property. Generally, an annulment request occurs early in a marriage so the lack of division of property is not relevant. You did not say how long you've been married.

Is it my responsibility to pay the medical debt myself?

You should see an experienced Family Law attorney to assist you with your matter. I believe these co-pays will be found to be a joint responsibility, so keep track of them all. However, until the judge in your Family Court matter enters an order there is no basis for you to seek reimbursement for those co-pays.
