Is there any legal way I can prevent my ex wife from continuing to harass me by texting and emailing me nonstop?

You may talk to the prosecutor to see if you can file telephone harassment charges; They will want to see the context of the texts

Will I be able to keep my pension and not pay any alimony if we get a divorce?

J. Matthew Catchick
Answered by attorney J. Matthew Catchick (Unclaimed Profile)

The general rule as to pensions is that each Party gets one-half of the other's benefits that accrued during the marriage. However, some people bargain to "offset" property awards, to keep their pension intact. For example, in your case, perhaps you might be able to keep all your pension, in exchange for your wife keeping all of hers, and the house.

My husband and I have been separated since may 2019 I even filed a ppo against him I filed for a divorce this year in may I don't know where he is

Answered by attorney Stuart R. Shafer
Divorce lawyer at Stuart R. Shafer, P.C.
After filing for divorce, you must serve your husband with the Complaint for Divorce.  If you do not know where he lives, then you need to ask the Court for permission to service him by alternate service.  I strongly suggest that you hire an attorney in Macomb County. An attorney may have resources not available to you to find your husband so he can be served.
