I can not answer this question without seeing what paperwork you signed. If you have doubts, I suggest you immediately call the plan and get the information from them. Find out what you signed and (if needed) withdraw your consent in writing. (Keep a copy!) Consult with a family law attorney if necessary.

The parties and plan administrator are to abide by the terms of the QDRO. If you are concerned about the language of the orders, I suggest you hire a lawyer.

What procedures do I need to take, if I got a marriage license with someone that was already married?

Answered by attorney Jacob Schwab Ginsberg (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Ginsberg & Associates
You need to file for annulment of the marriage. Annulments are different than a divorce because you have to prove fraud. That should not be difficult if he told you he was single when he married you.
