Is there a time limit where abandonment and divorce can be filed if the spouse left and what rights do I have if everything is in his name?

See an attorney so that money and assets aren't moved or disappear. As everything's in his name, he can do what he wants unless you stop him. Don't wait to file for divorce.

What can I do if my husband and I own a home together and he wants me to move out?

Answered by attorney Mark T. Peters (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Peters Law, PLLC
You can file for divorce now and get a court order for him to pay for your new place. That way you can make sure he keeps his word. Or you can ask the court to move him out.

Can I file for divorce in the US when I got married in another country?

Yes. The place where you were married has nothing to do with where you can or must get a divorce. Where you are living on a permanent basis at the time you desire to end the marriage is what controls where you can get divorced.
