Is there a way that I can get it back because she broke up with me and is now claiming the car was a gift but it’s not?

If you had the car titled in her name, it will be hard to show that you did not intend a gift, or did not intend to title it in her name because that is exactly what you did do. Let this be a lesson to you to never do this again.

Generally, alimony is alimony and legal fees are legal fees, so no, generally one is not the other. In some instances, attorney's fees may be deductible for tax purposes in whole or in part. You should consult with a tax professional to discuss the specific facts of your situation.

Can I stop paying for my ex-wife's bills and child support?

Rebecca A Rainwater
Answered by attorney Rebecca A Rainwater (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Landon Rainwater Robinson LLP
If you agreed to pay these things then you cannot just stop paying. You will need to request to modify your current agreement which requires a hearing and having a judge change the order if they agree. You really should consult an attorney about your situation.
