If you owe each other money, the sums can usually be used as offsets. But your settlement agreement may limit such offsets.

What am I entitled to after 25 years of marriage?

You need to speak with a divorce attorney right away, your husband probably has. There is much you are entitled to generally half the house, part of his pension just to name a few. Don't let him manipulate you into an agreement not in your favor. If he has the larger income he could be ordered to pay your attorney fees so don't let that stop you.

Not sure what you mean by "them" - but he can either come to the United States, find a notary in Canada, or go to the U.S. consulate.
