My husband wants a divorce because he thinks I've cheated. I have never cheated. Can I prove this legally?

Answered by attorney Dann Joseph Naggiar
Divorce lawyer at Naggiar Sarif, LLC
It is very diffcilut to prove a negative.  He would have the burden to prove that you did cheat and if you did not, he therefore, would not be able to prove it

What to when spouse send divorce papers by certified mail l haven't received them What should l do l am in Ga and he just moved to SC

Michael Todd Hampton
Answered by attorney Michael Todd Hampton (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at M. Todd Hampton, P.C.
Best advice is to hire a lawyer to handle it. Typically, you would have to be personally served, but the law could be different in South Carolina, if that's where he filed. You don't want to risk anything here, so hiring a lawyer is the best way to go.

Do I have rights to my husband’s vehicle even if were separated?

Anthony O. Van Johnson
Answered by attorney Anthony O. Van Johnson (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Anthony Overton Van Johnson Associates, P.C.
If the vehicle was purchased during the marriage, and the vehicle is in your husband's name, you continue (unless there is a court order stating otherwise) to have equal access to all of the marital property.
