Is it true that I'll still be held accountable for this car loan even after divorce?

Yes you are responsible. All marital debt is attributable to both parties even if the divorce decree states that the debt was his. Your remedy would be to take him back into court for Contempt of the Divorce Decree. A judge can order him to pay on the loan.

Can my Ex Spouse take my only childhood home of 48years and sell it

If the house was awarded to your ex-wife in the divorce decree, then she has the right to sell it.  You need to check the divorce decree itself as well as look at the real property records at your county clerk's office.  When you inherit real property it becomes your separate property.  In a divorce a court may only divide community property.  You may need a lawyer's help to file a Bill of Review to attempt  to overturn the award of your separate property home to your ex-wife in the divorce.  The fact that you say you "signed off on" the divorce may be a problem, however, if the decree provides that the house was awarded to your ex-wife.  Do not wait any longer to resolve the title and ownership issues with this real property.

How to divorce quickly-Texas resident

Answered by attorney Renea Overstreet
Divorce lawyer at The Overstreet Law Firm
Most jurisdictions require a certain time of residency or domicile in order to have the authority to grant your divorce. In Texas, you have to live here for 6 months and be a domiciliary of the country where you file for 90 days in order to file in the county where you live. I don't know what kind of laws they have in Mexico, but most places have some type of requirement that you live there in order for them to have authority to get a divorce there. You may want to consult with an attorney licensed in Mexico to find out their laws on the topic.
