Hired Attorney

Olivia Krebs handled our Mother's estate and did everything but carryout the distribution of our Mother's wishes. Her firm created the Last Will and Testament for our Mother, so it should have been easy. She did not distribute according the the direction in the Will. A letter was created asking the children to disclaim their inheritance. Next, Olivia pursued an augmented estate which was not valid according to the requirements of the ND Century Code. She was acting under conflict of interest by representing the estates personal representative's attorney, at the same time as the estate attorney. It has been 3 1/2 years since the estate was opened, and still no distribution. The estate is not complex. Olivia Krebs is responsible for the mess.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
