Mary Grupp is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Detroit office, specializing in commercial litigation. She is experienced in the litigation of high-exposure and complex personal injury cases. Throughout her career, Ms. Grupp has conducted over one hundred depositions and managed numerous dispositive motions. Notably, she successfully co-tried a slip and fall case that resulted in a defense verdict.
Ms. Grupp earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and Political Science from La Salle University in Philadelphia, graduating summa cum laude. She subsequently obtained her Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School, where she graduated with honors. During her legal education, she competed in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and held the position of Senior Articles Editor for International Law in Domestic Courts.
Ms. Grupp is licensed to practice law in both Michigan and New York. Prior to her current role, she was appointed as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department, where she practiced for three years.
