Farah R. Israel is an associate principal in the firm’s Detroit office. She focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense of all specialties as well as provider licensing defense. She has successfully participated in medical malpractice trials covering multiple areas of medical specialties. Additionally, she has prior experience in No-Fault law (both first and third party litigation).
Ms. Israel received her J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School where she served as Mock Trial Board President and Arab and Chaldean Law Student Association President. Ms. Israel also competed in her law school Moot Court Competition, where she was declared one of the top oral advocates. In her last year of law school, Ms. Israel was voted by her peers and received a certificate for “Best Senior in Service” and “Best Senior Litigator” for her involvement with Mock Trial Board. Ms. Israel continues to visit her law school to judge law students in Mock Trial and Moot Court competitions.
Ms. Israel holds a B.A. in Psychology from Wayne State University where she graduated within two and half years at the age of 20.
Ms. Israel has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Rising Stars are attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or those who have practiced for ten years or less. Only 2.5 percent of Michigan lawyers are named to this list every year.
In addition to English as her second language, Ms. Israel is fluent in Arabic and Aramaic (Chaldean).
Ms. Israel is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and a member of the Negligence Law Section. She is licensed to practice law in Michigan and is admitted to the United States District Court of Eastern Michigan.
