Stuart D. Morse has been licensed to practice law since 1987. Beginning in 1989 he started his insurance defense practice and began trying cases regularly. In the first 20 years of practice, he averaged 2-3 trials per year all with tremendous success. He has tried cases over a wide variety of subject matter including automobile accidents, insurance coverage, insurance bad faith, premises liability, and construction. He has argued many cases before the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court with numerous reported decisions. He has had an a “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell for years and has been designated as a Colorado Super Lawyer since 2017.
Mr. Morse’s experience has helped him become a trusted advisor to many insurers and other clients. Indeed, after meeting through insurance cases many clients have gone on to retain him as their general counsel. Despite knowing how to litigate as well as any, Mr. Morse believes his greatest service is provided through advice, counselling, and mentorship. He also gives back to the legal community by serving as a Co-Chair of the Colorado Legal Fee Mediation & Arbitration Committee, a committee he has served for more than 30 years.
