Kristen was born and raised in Colorado. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and received dual Bachelor’s Degrees in 2017. During her time at CU, Kristen was involved in multiple campus organizations and spent two months teaching English to refugees in Egypt. Kristen obtained her Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law in 2021 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
During law school, she worked for Legal Services of South Central Michigan with a focus on family law and landlord-tenant disputes. She also participated in numerous Appellate Moot Court competitions. Over the summers, Kristen interned for the Colorado State Public Defender and the Aurora Municipal Public Defender. Following graduation, Kristen worked at a Colorado law firm where she practiced criminal defense and civil litigation and gained ample courtroom experience.
Kristen is passionate about giving a voice to her clients during emotional and stressful times through her knowledge of the law and collaborative advocacy. Kristen seeks to lend as much support to her clients as she can during some of the hardest times in their lives.
Outside of the office, Kristen enjoys live music, exploring Denver’s endless dining options, and spending time with her friends and family.
