Hired Attorney Ms. Leah Harbour

My experience with this attorney has been extremely disappointing. From the very beginning, communication was almost nonexistent. Despite dozens of phone calls, emails, and text messages over several months, most went unanswered. On the rare occasions I reached the paralegal, I was told they would “reach out” to the attorney or email the DA, but I rarely received any follow-up. The client was only able to speak directly with the attorney once, and that was only after I called the office every 30 minutes in a single day to force a response. Critical case updates were never communicated. The attorney did not inform the client of major developments, including an indictment and a bench warrant, and was unaware of a transfer into county custody. Since that time, the attorney has not personally appeared in court, instead sending substitute attorneys. This is a clear pattern of neglect, lack of diligence, and failure to communicate. When facing serious charges, clients deserve better.

Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
