Mr. Carr is senior attorney and President of Carr Allison, a litigation intensive law firm with over 100 trial attorneys in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi. Mr. Carr has over 30 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts in Alabama and Mississippi.
Mr. Carr has tried over 250 matters in 50 of the 67 Counties in Alabama. These have included products liability claims, all manner of personal injury claims, and commercial dispute and fraud claims. He has represented more than half of the top 50 motor carriers in the country and many of the major insurers in death and catastrophic injury cases in over 25 of the states in the country.
Mr. Carr served as First Chair of the American Law Firm Association Transportation Practice Group, Chairman and Vice Chairman of USLAW Network, and received the Alabama State Bar Award of Merit in 1996. In addition, he was selected for publication in Best Lawyers in America, and was chosen as a Superlawyer, for his work in personal injury defense. In November 2009, Mr. Carr was elected as a fellow of the Alabama Law Foundation, an honor limited to one percent of bar members. He has also been an Adjunct Professor at Cumberland School of Law.
Mr. Carr is currently the President of the American College of Transportation Attorneys, a peer elected group limited to no more than 25 attorneys who have successfully defended the transportation industry throughout the United States.
