He has experience working with Fortune 100 companies and technology clients in federal court litigation, particularly in the Western District of Texas. His practice encompasses all phases of litigation, from pre-trial discovery through trial and post-trial proceedings. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk to both the Hon. Alan D Albright and the Hon. Derek T. Gilliland in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and helped manage one of the country’s largest patent dockets.

• Co-chaired bench trial and obtained $4.46 million judgment plus attorneys’ fees in trade secrets suit (Western District of Texas).°

• Participated in bench trial regarding equitable defenses in patent infringement suit and obtained finding that infringement claims were not estopped (Western District of Texas).°

• Argued numerous Markman hearings and obtained claim construction rulings for clients.°
