About Ms. Katie Flowers Samler

As a board-certified family lawyer and family law mediator, Katie Flowers Samler has a wealth of experience practicing litigation and Collaborative Divorce. She is the President of Collaborative Divorce Dallas, has been named to the 2026 Best Lawyers in America list for Family Law, Family Law Mediation and Collaborative Law: Family Law, and is recognized as a Super Lawyer in family law. Katie is known for constructive, strategic, and creative resolution of cases. Her skills include resolving cases that have complex layers, including personality disorders, addiction issues, parental alienation, complex property division, and division of retirement plans. Katie is also passionate about helping clients navigate and understand the adoption process.

Katie has authored numerous articles and presented on family law issues, including collaborative law, custody litigation, high-conflict personality disorders, parental alienation, and commentary on tracing and characterization issues. She is a dedicated volunteer for The Family Place, an organization committed to stopping family violence.

Katie is a Dallas divorce lawyer practicing in both our Dallas/Plano office locations.

Katie is a parent of two elementary school-aged children. Outside of practicing law, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and volunteering in her community and children’s school.
