Desaray R. Muma is an attorney who joined the firm in 2023 and focuses her practice exclusively on family law.
She graduated cum laude from Central Michigan University where she studied Financial Planning and Legal Studies. After undergrad, Desaray attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School where she was an Associate Editor on Law Review and graduated cum laude as well.
Desaray was motivated to practice family law because she could help people in one of their most vulnerable times of their life. Her background in finance has helped her navigate clients through complex property cases. Additionally, she represents children on Child Protective Services termination cases and is well versed in CPS litigation.
Finally, Desaray is trained in the process of Collaborative Divorce, a process that keeps cases out of court and the parties work collaboratively with a mental health professional and financial expert to divide their property and create a custom plan for co-parenting. Desaray enjoys Collaborative Divorce because it allows the parties to retain control and dignity of their lives by solution oriented, interest-based negotiations.
Desaray is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Tarrant Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association, and Collaborative Divorce Texas.
