Cohen & Cohen, P.C. is a law firm with an office in Dallas, TX. At this office location, there is 1 lawyer practicing criminal law, driving while intoxicated, driver license suspension and 9 other areas of law.
Words cant even begin to describe what a horrible lawyer this guy is. I hired him a few months back and what I paid him was ridiculously high. This guy is a scam!!! I pray people see this before they give him one red cent. He did absolutely NOTHING for me. When I would ask him about my case and what he thinks about it he would just beat around the bush and manage to tell me nothing about my case. Come to find out im sure its because the guy never even looked the case over because he knew nothing about my case after months and months of setting it of.. we were coming up on my last court date and even then he couldn't tell me even the slightest bit as to what it is he thinks he can do for me. This has been a nightmare of an expirence. Let me just give the next person who is considering hiring him a piece of advice. The money your thinking about paying him to represent you, just take it and throw it in the toilet and punch that flush because thats exactly what your doing if you pay him.
Mr. Cohen was hired to represent me for a simple misdemeanor case and failed to give me any confidence that he was going to properly defend my case. I was told that this would be taken care of for a set price, which was excessive to begin with. I was told that the fee would be $5,000. I was also scammed out of another several hundred dollars to supposedly 'clean up' my record, which he absolutely never did. I was repeatedly harassed for more money after this case was supposed to be dismissed. Mr. Cohen did nothing to help my case, he just went in to the judge to get delay after delay. This process was ridiculous and cursory at best. Cohen never bothered to hear evidence, and went into this with a horrible attitude. Cohen would continuously keep delaying and resetting the case over and over for years. I never once felt like he was working for me. It seems like he only wants to please the prosecutors and judge. This liar ripped me off and will not return file or calls..
