Hired Attorney Mr. Kervyn Altaffer Jr.

I've been arrested and illegally detained many times for filming the police. I was ignored by many lawyers and even the ACLU of Texas would take my case. A free months later I met Kervyn through another activist and he agreed to take my cases. One of our cases made it to the 5th circuit of court of appeals and on Feb. 16, 2107, Turner v Driver ruled that there was an established right to record the police. This ruling covers Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. I'm very happy with his services.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
